Verizon Galaxy Camera pops up on Samsung's website with 4G LTE support in tow

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Camera product page

Well, that didn't take long. A week after a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Camera stopped by the FCC with Verizon-friendly LTE support in tow, the device has made an official appearance on Samsung's website. Spotted by The Verge, the device is listed with the model number EK-GC120, just like it had in its FCC filing. The Verizon-connected Galaxy Camera looks to be fairly similar to the AT&T model that's already available, featuring a 4.8-inch display and quad-core processor. The difference between the two is that Verizon's model packs 4G LTE connectivity, and as was suggested by its FCC documents, it appears to lack any kind of 3G CDMA support.

There's been no actual announcement of this new Galaxy Camera from either Samsung or Verizon yet, so pricing and availability details are still up in the air. However, the fact that these pages are put together and have appeared on Samsung's site (perhaps accidentally) suggest that a launch may not be too far off. It's also worth noting that the Galaxy Camera is currently being offered by AT&T for $499.99, so anyone interested in the Verizon-flavored model may want to go ahead and start saving their pennies. The product page for the Verizon Galaxy Camera can be found at the Samsung link below.
