This week I have been screaming to the top of my lungs!!? Mom and Dad, it?s time to wake up and spiritually lead your home.

Here are the stats that have me all worked up!

59% of young people with a Christian background report that they had or have ?dropped out of attending church, after going regularly.
57% say they are less active in church today compared to when they were fifteen.
Nearly 38% say they have gone through a period when they significantly doubted their faith
32% describe a period when they felt like rejecting their parents faith.

So what can WE do to lead our kids spiritually??

Here are 15 things every mom and dad can do to spiritually wake their kids up?

Have family time at least 1 night a week.
Attend a LeCrae concert with your kiddos.? Who is LeCrae?? When is he in concert?
Celebrate your kids spiritual birthday.? Read more HERE.
Have 1 family mission trip every month.? (homeless shelter, hot dogs for the homeless, nursing home, serve a neighbor)
Create a weekly prayer list, write it down on a 3 x 5 card and put it on your kids bathroom mirror.
Serve as a family at church.
Catch your kids doing something right and let them know you caught them.
Make Biblical literacy a MUST!? (Team Sprad is studying The Story together?#lifechanging)? They have versions for all ages.
Connect your kids with a spiritual mentor.
Teach them to listen to the prompting of The Holy Spirit.
Take spiritual faith risks together.? (give 20% ? share your faith this week with 1 friend ? give away something you need)
Take turns praying for the family on the way to school.? (1 week your son will pray.? 1 week you will pray.? 1 week?)
Ask for your kids forgiveness when you screw it up?
Send a text twice a week.? (Text your kiddos a verse, prayer or encouraging word)
Live it out!? (you can?t pass down Jesus if your not living it out!)
